What effect does it have?
In order to combat stress, we need to employ methods targeting the parasympathetic nervous system. Breathing, meditating, and inner focus are all scientifically studied ways to actively relax during feelings of being overloaded or overwhelmed.
Swimming in cold water with the correct way of breathing is the highlight of the week and triggers a series of beneficial effects.
